Research Scientist needed in Alcorn State, MS. Will design studies to examine mechanisms associated with development and growth of transferred bovine embryos. In this regard, will identify hormonal protocols responsible for development and growth of luteal and follicular cells; engage in lab and field work related to reproductive physiology; collect field data; perform laboratory and statistical analyses; coordinate with faculty and other researchers; assist in preparing research results for presentations and publication. Field work is at dairy. Must have MS Animal Science, Biology or closely related field; in depth knowledge of: ELISA and RIA testing, equipment, and data analysis; cattle handling; cell culture; jugular bleeding (cattle); artificial insemination (cattle); pregnancy diagnosis (cattle); basics of non-surgical embryo transfer; ultrasound equipment; gel electrophoresis; TUNEL assay; PCR and qPCR; SAS 9.0 (Basic); radioimmunoassay; dot blot; and western blot. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
